Bridge over the stream - HFF

In a large, quiet and shady park, the “Pêcher spring” springs from a large rocky scree, its waters draining into the Tarnon (a tributary of the Tarn). Halfway along the route, right in the heart of the town, the Vibron is the reservoir for the Pêcher spring. It has always been a source of drinking water for the town's fountains, and was also used to power the mills and the fishpond.

PONT AU-DESSUS DU RUISSEAU. Dans un grand parc calme et ombragé, la source du Pêcher jaillit d’un gros éboulis rocheux, ses eaux sont drainées vers le Tarnon (affluent du Tarn). A mi-parcours en plein coeur de ville, le Vibron est la retenue d’eau sur la source du « Pêcher». Il fut de tous temps une ressource en eau potable pour alimenter les fontaines de la ville et permettait également de faire tourner les moulins et d’alimenter le vivier à poissons.

BRÜCKE ÜBER DEN BACH. In einem grossen, ruhigen und schattigen Park entspringt die Quelle des "Pêcher" mitten in grossen Felsbrocken, ihr Wasser wird in den Tarnon (Nebenfluss des Tarn) geleitet. Auf halber Strecke im Herzen der Stadt befindet sich der Vibron, der die Quelle des "Pêcher" aufstaut. Er diente seit jeher als Trinkwasserressource, um die Brunnen der Stadt zu versorgen, und ermöglichte es ausserdem, die Mühlen anzutreiben und den Fischteich zu versorgen.
