Thanks Norm, just a shame about the bonnet being up. One of these days I'll get a decent shot of this one with it closed!

Great car! Yeah, if you don't catch them as soon as they drive in, they'll park and immediately start opening up every hatch or door!

You're right there at least with most of them. Have to admit though knowing what it's like for people wanting to take decent photos, I tend to leave the bonnet on my old Scirocco down most of the time just opening it up if someone's keen to have a look at the engine.

Cool classic Beetle!
The U.S. models had larger turn signals for 1970 and obviously didn't have right side drive.
I wish car shows would have a specified time where the hoods, trunks and doors are shut for photos, and a time that they can open them for judging and/or engine shots. : ]

Glad you like it and that's a great idea you have about having a specific time for photos. Between open bonnets and candy-striped hazard tape it's a wonder we bother trying to take any photos! ;)
