Cool photo Paul! I can't say I've ever heard of one before. It kind of reminds me of the Chevrolet Chevette in appearance.

I hadn't heard of that one Norm, but have now done a bit of 'Googling' ... always dangerous!

It seems that the Opel Kadett (which was marketed in the UK as the Vauxhall Astra) was Opel's version of the General Motors' "T-Car" and the T-Platform was what underpinned the Chevrolet Chevette which you mentioned. So there is a genuine connection between the two although I don't think they shared any panels whatsoever.
