When we were there last Saturday, the bank next to the Temple of Flora was crowded with picnickers. The only places where I could get a 'free from people' view were inside the temples looking up at the ceilings. :-)))

Oh dear, that does sound crowded indeed! We had lots of people sitting in the grass in front of the Pantheon but not at the temple of Flora. Maybe many visitors last Saturday didn't want to walk far;-)
