Big sky over Ísafjarðardjúp

Big sky over Ísafjarðardjúp
View towards Snæfjallaströnd on the northwestern coast of Ísafjarðardjúp which isn't (permanently) inhabited anymore because of the harsh climate. The snow fields are remnants of Drangajökull glacier which has now retreated to the plateau.

Große Klasse Gudrun. Wäre wahrscheinlich nie auf die Idee gekommen so eine Aufnahme zu machen. Soviel Leere und dann die geballte Macht der Wolken. Das sieht wunderbar aus. Kann man sich herrlich drin verlieren.

Dort kommt man auf solche Ideen, weil der Himmel oft gigantisch ist und das Licht sich dauernd ändert. Das zieht einen auch trotz schlechtem Wetter immer wieder in den Norden.
