Don't Make a Scene

This appeared in 'Nova' magazine of September, 1969. It is a still from Claude Chabrol's film 'Les Biches' of 1968. The actors in the photograph are Jacqueline Sassard and Stephanie Audran. I've never seen the film, and I don't know one actor from the other. Feel free to add detail and opinion. It's all very French and avant-garde.
Steve Bucknell, have particularly liked this photo

I have still not seen Les Biches (it is now 2024). Perhaps I never will.
