Just looking at this makes me feel cold........and I can imagine you huddled round a pot-bellied stove trying to keep warm. The sign of a great photo........you can imagine you were there!

Thanks mate...and yes, I was pot-bellied, huddled round the stove ;-)...I'm generally alcohol-free at altitude (excluding flights). I bought a bottle of Chinese whisky lower down in Namche...the four stars on the label made sense...my van would have loved it.

Yes they are, Joan...and at times I felt like I needed them. The week hasn't been too brutal, but I don't have w/e's at the min. I'm on 11-12 x 7 x 4 and counting! Never mind!
