Birmingham Moor Street the railings don't serve any purpose they end the other side of the shrubs !! the lines on the right are through ones those on the left terminate there.. In 1967 it was axed by the infamous Dr Beeching the through lines reopened in 1978 it wasn't until 2002 that the terminal side was rebuilt and brought back into use, it was done to look like a 1930s station.
Dr Beeching was an idiot who managed the persuade the government of the day to axe a vast amount of the UK rail network so we now have a public transport system that is struggling to cope with the number of passengers

It took many attempts to get them to grow in my garden, the seeds are sticky which ants like so now they appear in odd places, unfortunately no sign of the spring flowering coum spreading, the best place I know in the UK to see them is Anglesey Abbey near Cambridge

I took the shot for the lines looking on the screen I realised what is missing. Try it large
It's been a hot dry Summer but there is nothing but the corn stubble there is not a single weed !!!! just think of the amount os spray that has been used , no flowers for insects to feed on or seeds for birds it could be a desert
