The quality would have been better with a tripod
For 50 years the 152m BT tower has looked over Birmingham, the hight was limited by the proximity of Birmingham Airport, the last of the large dishes were removed in 2012 made redundant by fibre optic cables there are about 80 smaller dishes which are still in use, most years it is also home to a pair of peregrine falcons nesting on the 22nd floor
