The Grand Constructors

The Grand Constructors Fernard Leger, (1881-1955) The twentieth-century fascination with urban life, the machine, and workers dominate the work of Leger. Like most ordinary people,Leger is thoroughly enchanted with the creations of technology and mass culture. Yet the robot-like action of the workers in this 1950 picture also suggests that dehumanization often accompanise our modern marvels (Musee National Fernand Leger, Bot / S.P.A.D.E.M.
