Oosterpark

Saturday Self Challenge: Dutch angle / Dutch tilt
Muziek: The Nits – In the Dutch Mountains (1987) www.youtube.com/watch?v=Un0VLiPKKyg

The Netherlands is a flat country and there are no mountains. However, at some places there are steep slopes, like this one here in the Oosterpark in Amsterdam. Both in photography and in cinema ‘Dutch tilt’ is being used to indicatie something strange or unsettling is going on, here in the form of the three trees in the foreground which seem to stand vertical.
