And, there's more.....from the Archives :-) Clearly, the guy is telling the gal a story and this leads to Billy Joel's "Tell Her About It" performed here by Elio Pace on 'Weekend Wogan' in 2010 when Elio was Terry's Musical Director. I feel very privileged to have seen Elio with his 'Big Band' and playing piano with 'Albert Lee and Hogan's Heroes'. Also, being at the four sold-out "Billy Joel Songbook" concerts that Elio and his Band have done at The Stables, Wavendon, Milton Keynes between 19 April 2014 and last Saturday night :-) I think it is fair to say that Elio is one of our (Helen & I) very favourite live performers. "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down"

Explored! ~ Thank you very much :-))) Another shot of 'D80104' so that I can use an obscure link for 'Sight and Sound'. And, even by my standards, this link is pretty obscure :-)) The song "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down", written by Robbie Roberson, talks of the Danville train. This is not the Danville train but it is a train. The original of "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" by The Band is one of my absolute all-time fave tracks but I do very, very much like Tanya Tucker's version :-)) Somewhere I still have one of those VHS Video tape thingies with this concert on it and I seem to remember it was from 'Church Street Station' but, I stand to be corrected :-)) Added to ~ Sight and Sound ♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ Listen here ~ The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down ~ Tanya Tucker

I'm pretty sure this was taken in Highcliffe so I'm sticking with this thought :-) Anyway, back on 3 April I do remember there was a chilly wind blowin'. This, of course, leads to "Chilly Winds" by John Stewart :-)) .....one of my fave tracks on John's 1973 album "Cannons in the Rain". "Fire It Up"

Explored! ~ Thank you very much :-))) I have previously used the original colour version of this shot but I am now using this toned version. The 24-litre Napier-Railton is about to be 'fired up' in readiness for its run up Kop Hill. This, of course, allows me to link my photo to "Fire It Up" by Johnny Reid :-) Again 'Sight and Sound' has introduced me to more wonderful music :-) My previous upload was linked to "Picture Of You" by Johnny Reid. "Picture of You"

Many, many, many, moons ago I was a member of the Aylesbury Police Camera Club that then became Stoke Mandeville Hospital Camera Club. I wasn't a policeman or a doctor :-) In the days of APCC we had regular portrait sessions and it is likely this shot was taken at one of those sessions. The original is on a colour slide. I am in the process of clearing out lots and lots and lots of slides. I have memories of taking slides that were quite successful but clearly my memory is somewhat rosy 'cos in truth most are pretty rubbish! Already hundreds and hundreds have gone to recycling :-) I have come across a few though that I think are worth saving and I am scanning these. This is one such scanned slide and I have now applied an 'Old Photo' effect plus some noise reduction using Nik Software. It disappoints me to say that I do not remember this ladies name. Explored! ~ Thank you very much :-))) My previous post had a link to "Clouds" and I was a little confused as to whether it was a Bread track or a David Gates track. Karen and Mick sorted out my confusion.....thanks peeps :-) Karen also gave me a link to the David Gates "First" album from 1973. On this album there is a track called "Sight and Sound". This was big surprise :-) But, of, course, I always knew that our 'Sight and Sound' Group was even more famous than I realised :-))) So, I figure I can link any of my photos to David's song :-) This is another shot from within the Blavatnik Building. "Universal Soldier"

Added to ~ Sight and Sound I've been wanting to use "Universal Soldier" by Buffy Sainte-Marie and then I remembered that a while ago I took a shot that I could use.
