This Oxford window, that has been given a bit of a Photoshop makeover, could be in 'University College' :-)
It is not 'My Window" but a link to "At My Window" by Townes Van Zandt and Kathy Mattea is goin' to be my tenuous 'Sight and Sound' choice for today :-)

Got completely carried away (and perhaps I should be) with my iPod, with part of my music system, with GIMP Photo Software and with Nik Filters trying to come up with a link to "Mohammed's Radio" by Warren Zevon and this is the result :-)
I do believe that Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks provide the harmmony vocals.

"Boulder to Birmingham" was written by Emmylou Harris and Bill Danoff and features on Emmy's 1975 album "Pieces of the Sky". Bill Danoff was married to Taffy Nivert and together with John Denver they wrote "Take Me Home Country Roads". Bill Danoff & Taffy NIvert were also members of the Starland Vocal Band and they recorded "Boulder to Birmingham" as well.
I hope you are following me thus far :-)
My photo was taken in the grounds of Nuffield College in Oxford. "Boulder to Birmingham" is one of my all-time favourite tracks by Emmylou and as there is a 'Boulder' in my photo I think this should be my 'Sight and Sound' link :-)

It has been a very long time since I posted anything to ipernity or commented upon photos. This is because I have been having lots of eye problems including frighteningly high Intraocular pressures.
Last week I had a combined cataract operation and laser treatment on my left eye.
Once the eye has fully healed there will be the same procedure carried out on my right eye. I anticipate this will, hopefully, be in May 2017.
In the meantime, I feel able to do some occasional posting and some commenting.

It is very depressing to read the latest ipernity Blog where it says "it’s time for us to pass the relay or turn the page."
By the same token I was a little encouraged by the words "it remains quite possible that a new team will take the lead of ipernity".
However, if there are only about 3,000 ipernity members I don't see how it would be financially viable for someone else to take over even with an increase in the subscription amount.
The words to "For The Good Times" seem depressingly apt to me just at this minute.
