Bridesmaid, 1974

Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: AT THE WEDDING (but not the bride or groom).
Here's me with my mother at my cousin's wedding.
I'm not happy for two reasons:
1. I really don't want her to get married to the groom
and
2. It's 106 F - I kid you not - PLUS it's Connecticut and unbearably humid.
And -
Neither the church or the place where the reception was held had air conditioning.
The color in this photo does not do justice to my actual face color which was the red of a 26 mile marathon.
Not my favorite memory - or the bride's, it turned out.

I laugh to see in the background my very proper uncle with his coat slung over his shoulder and my aunt mopping her face!
RicksPics club has replied to Deborah Lundbech clubI remember my brother had white shoes/boots but I'm sure I just assumed it was the rock musician in him!
