Bad Hair Day Baby
Brought forward, at Alan's suggestion, for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of "ALREADY UPLOADED - ANYTHING GOES!"
Those tufts! What were they thinking? The poor baby was already as homely as they come.
This is an example of a "hidden mother" photo as you can see the arm and hand curved around the baby but otherwise, apart for a glimpse of dress, she is hidden.
Purchased in Vergennes, Vermont.
There's a torn off two cent stamp on the back even though it's not a postcard. It looks like it might be a George Washington stamp. Assuming it was put on close to the time it was taken, what time frame is that?

Brian and I still laugh about back in our early parenting days, how sorry we were that other people's babies were not as perfect and beautiful as our Colin - and how impressed we were that they hid their envy so well! Seriously!
