Maybe that's the matron with them.
Found photo in Brattleboro, VT. 2012. I really wish I could make out the name on the door. It's Memorial Hall something but I can't get the first word.
I'm guessing this is the 1920s.

Nice one! I always find it interesting to see how the nurses' uniforms change over the years. The caps here look a bit different from others that I've seen. Perhaps there's some variation from place to place, too.
