An artistic marvel. I love the red theme and your collage elements and layout. The lines on top are graphically fabulous and really interesting to look at. Cool use of various opacities to add even more interest. Nice job. Of course the topic is well-worded and important too...I keep an eye on the virus every day (Corona Virus Update) and am lately feeling encouraged that the numbers are no longer skyrocketing... though it's possible that the data may be partially withheld or skewed. You cannot ever tell to be honest. We can only cross our fingers that this virus is, indeed, being held in check. Time will tell.

BTW, the Covid site with all of the information I gave you a link to has been updated...the statistical graph in the lower right corner now also has two more tabs of information. Thank you for your visit William...I think of you every time I check the latest info on the Covid site. It's getting a little bit concerning with the explosion in Italy and S Korea...*sigh* and now there is a case in both Africa and in S America.

I do wish that media would flood the market with the truth: corona virus compared to the flu is like being hit with a feather in the overall scheme of things. The death-rate of flu is SHOCKING in comparison to the very few deaths from (almost exclusively) elderly patients that get the corona virus. Instead they are rolling around in click-bait heaven as they spew out news that the world is coming to an end! *sigh*

In recent days, WHO has reported that coronavirus mortality is also higher than previously thought. The first study reported a 2% mortality rate. It is now 3.4 percent globally. Thus, coronavirus turns out to be more lethal than seasonal flu, with which it is often combined, and whose mortality - according to WHO - is about 1 percent.
The WHO head Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus informed about new mortality data.

Janet, I think the CDC sparked some real panic yesterday claiming the outbreak here in the USA was inevitable and people should start making preparations and expect significant disruptions in their lives. I guess since the flu occurs every year, the media isn't interested in covering it even though the 2019-20 season has result in a record number of children's deaths this year here in America. :(

Yes, washing hands, with warm water and soap, and avoiding touching once own face is often enough. People often have mannerisms, like scratching itchy eyes with fingers, and that should be avoided.

But we also should remember to avoid foolish use of hand sanitizers. When those became popular somewhat everywhere, people started to think that is enough. But it really is not as good as washing hands properly with water and soap, after which one should use paper towel to close the tap (if not electronically controlled): And avoid touching door knobs, which pretty much undo the hand wash.

In the meantime, France has become the second most important source of infection in Europe after Italy. These protections are becoming topical. Radio, television and urban spots are now being broadcast.

interesting composition ! the hand gel sanitizer are sold out in Italy since a week - and many supermarket are...empty because a lot of Italians panicked because of fake news and the TV-news about infected people ....;-((

Gabi, We have the same problem here in NY -- no hand sanitizer for almost two weeks and the few places it can be found, it is being sold at exorbitant prices ranging from $29 to $79. I believe panic buying here was triggered by the same cause and it doesn't help when federal officials contradict each other and the president doesn't take it seriously. It's hard to have confidence. Hope you and your family are safe considering how bad things are in Italy. Likewise, Eric hope you and your family are also safe considering France too is being hit hard. Excellent advice Sami!
