Cette fois -ci le peuple Américain a donné une grande leçon de civisme,de démocratie et de justice,suivi par un grand nombre de pays... J'espère que les gouvrnants ont comprit la leçon et que la mort de George Floyd ainsi que toutes ces manifetations ne soient pas vaines.

It will not have been in vain, and the process is now on track.

Yes, things will get better if people keep up the pressure in spite of an insensitive out-of-touch President who just blamed a victim of the cop violence -- he claimed the old man in Buffalo who was shoved for no apparent reason and hit his head on the ground may have "staged" the incident. Simply sick! He didn't ask to be violently shoved or now to be in critical condition with brain swelling. Fortunately this time, I hope at least, people will see right through this and make a unified stand for civil rights and human rights now! African-Americans don't deserve to have to live in a repressive police state where they are constantly harassed and subjected to violence because of the color of their skin. This is the last remnant of slavery and Jim Crow, and needs to be dismantled for once and for all.

Glad to see George Floyd got a funeral fit for royalty that included a gold casket and horse-drawn carriage. He is an historic figure who must be remembered by all generations. He and his family are in my prayers as is America and the world for an end to violence and human rights violations.

I, too, am glad George Floyd got an honorable funeral, and there will be an end to violence and human rights violations, but the way there is long, steep, stony and arduous.
We will need much love, strength and patience, and we will master it with God's help.

I could not bring myself to photograph the boarded up storefronts - the work of criminal looters rather than impassioned protesters.

While I did take a few photos of boarded up store fronts that had been looted and my camera actually captured someone removing what looked like a flat-screen TV from a looted Target (I didn't notice this guy until I got home and downloaded my pics), I chose not to include them since these people did nothing more than hijack important protests aimed at condemning murder and bringing a better America.
