Note: l. Diana of the Hunt sculpted by Anna Hyatt Huntington (1876-1973) depicts the Roman goddess of women and patroness of the hunt. The “lithe figure of the goddess stretches upward after shooting an arrow toward her celestial attribute, the moon.”[1] r. Palm trees and a flowering bush.

It still has a way to go after Hurricane Irma in September 2017 did significant damage. While the railings, electrical and lighting systems were repaired after a dozen dumpsters were used to remove the debris in the storm's aftermath, the soil and some of the plants are still recovering from the significant flooding.

Living in the Central part of Florida, we had our share of hurricanes .. 3 in one year, but had moved back home to North Carolina before Irma ... she did a number on many areas of the State ..
The track took it right through were we lived.. talk about being glad not to be there !!!

Que la foto representa a Diana patrona de los cazadores y que la postura es el final del disparo de una flecha, lo presumí desde que abrí la foto. Lo que no sabía es a qué disparaba. Tanto la escultura como la foto, magníficas. Uno de mis perros se llama Arko, porque es hijo de campeón y subcampeona de caza con arco.
