Florence seen from across the river, downstream from the tram bridge. Brunelleschi's Dome, peeping out above the Cascine Park trees, gets highlighted by the evening sun against the backdrop of the distant hills.

Extrêmement belle et bien rendue avec cette répartition de lumière bien remarquable.
J'aime bien cet avant plan éclairé et enjolive la prise de vue et le paysage.
Bonne et agreable journée.

Thank you, Malik. It was what caught my attention, too. Like the light was distributed in splotches! :)
Have a nice evening!

A beautiful play of light / shade and yellowish and green colors
The Duomo stands out and salutes the mountains
An amazing perspective at nightfall

Thank you, Judite. You are right: this is an unusual view, that only those who live (or, in my case, work) in this neighborhood would catch. Florence can be very interesting even from the outskirts :)
Have a wonderful Sunday!

Thank you, George. This is one of those pics that come from being at the right spot at the right time. It felt good to be able to put the work day behind me as I rode my bike home and got this unexpected glimpse of the city's trademark Dome :)
Hope you and Pauline had a good weekend!

A fine scene here towards the river and Brunelleschi's Dome. The sun lighting up the dome and foreground grass makes this. Well done my friend.

Thank you, Herb. Mostly a matter of being at the right place at the right time, but I will still take credit for trying to learn the tricks of the trade and remembering that a photographer needs to be aware of a particular light even when she's riding her bike home in the summer heat after a long day at work ;)
Hope you are having a great Sunday!

Showing that light can put a bit of magic even in an otherwise rather unremarkable view of the city from the outskirts ... I love it when light does that!
