I can only think of one and that is dog pooh. What do dog owners do? Put a cork in it?
Joking aside, Madrid is as up as anywhere else with pooh poopers and many disposable bins, and Madrileños (and Madrileñas) are pretty good at complying with all of this. No, there must be some other reason.

Oh dear Andy, I had no idea that you'd gone back to Spain and then had to return to Cornwall. I do hope it isn't because your parents have become worse. I do sympathise as I had to come here to care for my brother, but that was 23 years ago (I never went back to Exeter!!). This picture is gorgeous - I'm with you about the zero dogs allowed too.

I've been in Cornwall since Sept 22 and haven't returned to Spain in that time. I think I will probably return toSpain near the end of January but you never know!
