I have to agree with everyone here, Andy. This scene is just amazing with the blue sea, in contrast to the paler blue sky and the coastline being so dark in contrast. I love looking at your photos of this part of the coast, as it's not so far away from me.

Yes, thank you, Gillian. At that time, I occasionally escaped for a few minutes and shot over to the coast bfore it got dark. That can't happen now for reasons that I won't go into but involve elderly and increasingly infirm parents. No escape time possible at the present!

A lovely photo! Interesting to see there's a nuclear research station, I didn't know about that. They tend to build these things in places where they expect little opposition and where most people won't even realize it's there...

I think it was 'de-commissioned' many years ago, Gudrun, but the security is still tight so I guess some very radioactive bits and bobs are still hanging around in there!
