A favourite tree by the Roman road (I now wish I'd saved it for a Friday!)

The Roman road near El Escorial passes by this fine oak. Photo taken in August 2015 (ignore the incorrect exinf!).

L. L. Wall club has replied to Andy Rodker club... And ...
... a stone fence for HFF, good idea ... (a Stone Fence is a Yankee mixed drink, a recipe hundreds of years old: historically made with apple cider and dark rum or brandy, nowadays with bourbon ... around so long that the Colonials had consumed a quantity of Stone Fences before capturing Fort Ticonderoga from "youse guys") ...
Andy Rodker club has replied to L. L. Wall clubThere aren't many pig farms in Madrid province that I am aware of but if there is one it must be near hear and the slurry smell is horrendous. No ambience whatsoever, I can assure you (and I am familiar with Cornish farm smells, believe me!)
As for HFF, I was referring more to the barbed wire and wooden supports seen across the field (just) - OK, I have seen feebler justifications for a fence but not many!
All best wishes, Andy
Doug,
Thank you both!
