Thank you Diane. Yes they do - and have done for 1000s of years. It is hard to know sometimes whether a strangely shaped rock had been formed naturally or is the vestige of long-vanished granite quarrying.

This one of my favourite shots of La Sierra de La Cabrera and I have taken 1000s during the past 5 years or so. It's wonderful walking country only 50 km from Madrid.
