Andy Rodker club has replied to Doug Shepherd clubYes it is. It is Spanish Lavender growing wild in abundance in the mountain regions of Central and Western Spain and Portugal. It looks similar to lavender from The south of France with two prominent upper purple leaves that look like petals, and was called French Lavender until DNA profiling showed it to be a separate variety.
