Kinbane Castle Ruins

The ruins of Kinbane Castle lie on the north coast of Northern Ireland on a limestone peninsula at the bottom of a steep cliff, now reached by a narrow staircase. Most of the outer wall is gone but this is a small section still standing with its gun port. One of the inset photos is taken through the port. The castle was built in the sixteenth century by the MacQuillan clan.
