Paulina Falls

Paulina Falls is on a creek that drains Paulina Lake in Newberry National Volcanic Monument in Oregon. It is a short hike to the double falls which drop 80 feet (24 meters) as the creek flows around an island.

merci Ron
For my birthday (9/29) we are probably going to go to Joseph Stewart State Park. It's less than an hour away and gosh, it's just so beautiful. We were so blown away at how spectacular this place was, in our opinion. An easy drive from our house and such a lovely place to hang out. (some pictures: www.ipernity.com/doc/290645/album/1232456 )
Gosh Ron...I didn't know you were so freaked out by heights...but truly, you are more concerned about others' safety than your own...yeah...I get that one. Still...gee...it would be so nice to walk across that bridge together. With Nancy and Steve to make sure we don't fall to our deaths below! :) We could all hold hands as we walked across and giggle about our victory afterwards. :)
Steve and I speak of you and Nancikins regularly. So odd that you don't live right next to us, don't you agree? Well of course, if it were true, we'd all be off taking pictures! :D
Listening to this awesome song right now, makes me think about you and Nancy... www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2MtEsrcTTs
