Freckled Milkvetch

Freckled Milkvetch
These are the seedpods of the Freckled Milkvetch, a very unusual plant we found along the Braker Dam Road in Joshua Tree National Park. The pods are hollow and the seeds rattle inside.

The seed pods are so much more attractive than the plant. Oh well, it's not easy to grown in desert conditions.
