Abandoned Car

In visiting the some of the desert parks of the southwest we found numerous abandoned vehicles in the back country, especially in old mining areas. This post features three such vehicles found in the area of Wall Street Mill, and old gold mining mill. People have asked with previous posts why these are not removed along with other junk left behind by prospectors and others who lived and worked in the area. I suppose the answer is (1) that there is far too much of this stuff; (2) that it would be nearly impossible to haul it out of some of the remote places in which it is found; and (3) that it is now part of the history of these parks.
