Robson River Floodplain

When this photo was taken we were backpacking the Berg Lake trail in Mount Robson Provincial Park in British Columbia. Robson lies west of Jasper National Park in Alberta and is our preferred destination. We had come about 6.5 km at this point and had a grueling 4 km climb up Whitehorn Hill to our first night's campground in Whitehorn Basin and had just finished hiking around Kinney Lake (just visible in the photo). The inset photos tell the rest of the story of our hike from the Kinney Lake campground to this point.
