Mount Robson

This was Mount Robson from the visitors' center in the provincial park the morning we arrived to hike there. We had to wait at the visitors' center for permits since we would be camping in the backcountry. We had arrived in Edmonton a few days before and found our family there ill with strep throat and so we left again to do some hiking and backpacking in Mount Robson Provincial Park in British Columbia. Robson is west of Jasper and we did three days backpacking there on the Berg Lake trail. As is evident from the photo, the weather did not look very promising at this point but it did clear and become sunny later in the day.
