Colchuck Lake and the Enchantments

I do not often post camera photos or panoramas, but this is something of both. We were here yesterday on our way to northwestern Washington. We had decided to do an overnight hike in the Enchantments, part of Washington's Alpine Lakes Wilderness, but could not get a camping permit, so we day-hiked instead and did 10 miles (16 km) out and back with nearly 3000 feet (915 meters) of elevation gain to reach this alpine lake. The three mountains are from left to right, Enchantment Peaks, Dragontail Peak, and Colchuck Peak. Between the Enchantments and Dragontail is Aasgard Pass. We had lunch near where this photo was taken and my wife swam in the lake before we headed back down.
