Western Sheep Moth

The Western Sheep Moth or Elegant Sheep Moth or Common Sheep Moth, Hermileuca eglanterina, is often found in pastures where sheep graze and thus its common name. This was photographed in the Pend d'Orielle are of eastern Washington and is one of the more beautiful moths I've seen. It was a little worn but still worth a photo.
