Lonely

Taken on the Columbia Plateau in eastern Washington this photo says more than a lot of words can say about that area: lonely but beautiful, big skies, wide open spaces, green fields (the result of irrigation) but not many people, and far fewer than there used to be. I don't even remember where this was taken, but it could have been taken anywhere in that area of our beautiful state. The color, by the way, is untouched and is just as it came from the camera.
