Fenced and totally unaware of the carnival crowds. I´m escaping the carnival largely by babysitting. Therefore, I do not know if I can post a photo every day. I hope at all I take a photo every day... We will see.

For the 10 Week Picture Project: TREES Week 6: Trunk/Branches/Twigs It was a nice sunny afternoon. Feel a bit melancholic today.

Quick the flower that I bring a colleague for her birthday used as picture of the day.

I am back at work and my schedule is so full that I see no daylight. It's raining anyway. I love cans, boxes, bottles and small beautiful things. Here I have compiled a few. A little bit of pink to it. Done.

Sunday Challenge No.09 „gadgets ie: appliance, apparatus, instrument, implement, tool, utensil, contrivance, contraption, machine, mechanism, device, labor-saving device, convenience, invention; informal gizmo, widget. Process however you like. Try and make this at least a bit difficult if you will, choose processing you never would have, ladies get a gadget from hubby... hubby get into the kitchen-laundry room, whatever, and find something interesting in all those drawers! These are just suggestions, not necessary.“ A simple theme, which was difficult for me. In "gadgets" I think instinctively of gears. But I do not wanted to take apart a clock. Next, I remembered the egg shell breaking machine (in German „Eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacher“). Something I don´t have, because you just do not need it. Then it should be something that yourself do not often use. Of this I have a whole kitchen full, because I never cook. The photo of the garlic press, however, was incredibly boring. So I made the decision for the scissors. I first had a red pair of scissors, then there were two and now there are four. The miraculous multiplication scissors probably stems from the fact that I plug red scissors if they stay here, because I think it is mine. (If you have missed a red scissors so I probably have it ...) I wanted to order the scissors nice and then be sure to use a sewing pattern as a texture. Unfortunately I do not own sewing patterns and images on the internet I did not want to steal. And Stock Photos are soooo expensive. So I chose to compromise and made a second photo of my paper cutter and placed it under it. Here I have worked with layer masks in Photoshop, which I have not done often. The Sunday Challenge is always so much fun, thank you, dear friends, that I can be there!

The two bottles you already know from image 034 . They are located on my kitchen windowsill close to a third bottle, which you can imagine here in the picture on the right hand side. The window is not clean enough as that I could publish a sharp image. But the sun shone beautifully on the glass, I could not resist. Since I go to work again Monday, I have to make so much work that I do not know where my head is. Therefore, I can not make out in the sun for other photos.

I do not know if you knew it ... little fairies stay with me! Unfortunately, the laundry is still not washed by itself.

Waiting for spring.

Quick mobile photo in the waiting room processed with picasa. Sick certificate until Wednesday. Now I need to think of something for my photos of the day.

You were right. Yesterdays picture shows wind chimes :) Since I'm still cold and unmotivated, there is the 2/12 Feb. image today. If anyone has seen my motivation, please send it back to me. The 1/12 Jan. image is in the notes.

Take a picture of a stranger. It was a glorious day of skiing. It was a big challenge to me to photograph a stranger. Here I was able to do so, as if the landscape was the subject. What I like about the image is that he just turns around. I did´t process the picture, because I believe that the mountains set the skier well staged. I hope I have become the task.

A quick macro quiz. (resolution tomorrow) Today, it was really hard to make the image of the day. I'm tired and cold. The first month is over. I do not know how I feel about it.

A picture from last fall. No green leaves can here be found these days ...

Back home. We sat for 15 hours in the bus because we were some hours in traffic jams. A truck had thrown over the guardrail on the autobahn on our roads. The photo was taken in the morning before departure. The little Teddy was in the midst of all the luggage. I'm exhausted and have sore throat and headache, but glad that all children are back home. I wanted to post the image this day, because I thought I resent tomorrow. Three minutes before midnight. Just made it. Must sleep now!
