Foggy morning

Tonight the sky was striped. This is a mobile photo, because the SLR was not ready to hand. (Shame on me.)

I like HDR images if they are not too extreme, and if the processing suited to the scene. I especially like HDR images of abandoned places, automobiles, machinery, street art and similar things. I have decided for today's Sunday Challenge for an older image, in which the HDR processing is very strong. I can understand that for someone this processing is too crass. It shows an old abandoned laundry near Bonn. Original is in the box.

Today was a beautiful sunny day and unfortunately I had no time to go outside and take pictures. The sun and the coffeemaker conjured up this beautiful pattern of light on the work surface in the kitchen. That´s what my enjoying of the sun was today.

Someday I might get in trouble. But the light was so beautiful!

For the Sunday Challenge. trees hows this for easy, after the week of panning and trips to and from Urkville from almost every single one of us! Process however the heck you like or don't like, some of you can have trees with flowers while some of us will have trees with snow. big, small, dead, alive... get right up there and show us your trees. I really don't want to see any type of architecture or street view with a tree way off at the end please. Now I realize some man~made crap will get in the way, that is just life in this world. Get in close(ish) (this is not a macro challenge) and personal and show us those wonderful curvy lines. It was difficult to find a tree without human stuff around!

This little angel is already looking over a hundred years on the road in front of "his" house. What he may have seen in all these years?

A long day comes to an end. However, the picture comes from the rainy dawn.

At these letter boxes I drive past every day. And I kind of like it. I have received a very moving letter recently. No email, but a letter written by hand in an envelope sent by mail. No ads, no invoice. Nice that it still is!

This morning the most beautiful ice-flowers were on my car. Unfortunately, it was too dark to take pictures. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. What do you think?

I've been working late tonight, but I got a rainbow on the way home. (The hills you can see on the horizon belong to the Siebengebirge.)
