➽ Die Windbeutelgraefin ist ein historisches Kaffeehaus (PiP 1) und residiert in einem prächtigen Bauernhof in Ruhpolding, dem denkmalgeschützten „Mühlbauernhof“ – erstmals erwähnt im Jahr 1553.
Die Spezialität des Hauses ist der Lohengrin-Windbeutel (PiP 2)

➽ The "Windbeutelgraefin" (Profiteroles Countess) is a historic coffee house (PiP 1) and resides in a magnificent farm in Ruhpolding, the listed "Mühlbauernhof" (Mills farm) - first mentioned in 1553.

Der Name Windbeutelgräfin sagte mir gar nichts, aber in meiner Kindheit haben wir zwei Mal Urlaub in Ruhpolding gemacht, ein Mal im Winter und ein Mal im Sommer, und da waren wir Windbeutelessen. Der Weg, den wir von unserer Unterkunft, dem damaligen Nürnberger Haus, zurückgelegt haben, legt nahe, dass wir genau dort unsere Windbeutel zu uns genommen haben.

Freut mich, dass ich Kindheitserinnerungen wecken konnte. Seit wann der Mühlbauernhof "Windbeutelgräfin" heißt, hab ich leider nicht gefunden - den Namen gibts aber wohl seit 1949, so wurde die damalige Wirtin genannt!
