Lichttunnel - Light tunnel, Bregenz

➽ Lichttunnel, Gerry Ammann, Lichtinstallation Bregenz 2011 --- Der Licht-Tunnel von Gerry Ammann steht am Ende des Westmolos. Das tunnelförmige Lichtobjekt ist fünf Meter lang und 2,60 Meter hoch. 30 Glasrohre bilden einen „Erlebnisraum“, der, wenn es dunkel ist, anfängt zu leuchten. Es entsteht ein sich ständig wandelnder Farbraum mit wechselnden Kompositionen.

Gerry Ammann wurde 1962 in Bregenz geboren. Während er an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Wien bei Bruno Gironcoli studierte, absolvierte er gleichzeitig ein Studium der Werkerziehung und Bildnerischen Erziehung. Heute lebt und arbeitet Gerry Ammann in Wien. Quelle: illwerke.at

The tunnel-shaped light object is five meters long and 2.60 meters high. 30 glass tubes form a "space of experience" which, when it is dark, begins to glow. The result is a constantly changing color space with varying compositions.
