➽ Das Gebäude wurde 1654 unter Fürsterzbischof Guidobald von Thun und Hohenstein für die Salinenverwaltung errichtet. Heute beherbergt es das Keltenmuseum Hallein. Das Museum zeigt bedeutende Exponate Keltischer Kunst, sowie die Entwicklung der Stadt Hallein und der historischen Salzgewinnung. Today it houses the Celtic Museum Hallein (engl.). The museum displays important exhibits of Celtic art, as well as the development of the city of Hallein and the historic salt production. ➽ Die 200 kg schwere Stühle-Skulptur "Did you find your place?" des Österreichischen Künstlers und Clowns Heimo Thiel wurde von unbekannten Tätern in die Salzach geworfen. Die Feuerwehr barg die Skulptur und legte sie am Ufer ab. ➽ "Fischer, welche Fahne weht?" (Fisherman, which flag is waving?) - An old children's outdoor game (I think a similar game is known as "Crocodile, Crocodile" in some countries)! One player is chosen to be the fisherman who stands in the centre of the playing field. Then the players along a start line start to calling : “Fisherman, which flag is waving?" and the fisherman selects a color. All the players who have that colour somewhere on their clothing may pass across to the finish line without being tagged. The rest of the players must run across to the finish line and avoid being tagged by the fisherman. The players who are caught then join the fisherman as helpers. Begin the game again, this time with the helpers also tagging players. ➽ Lichttunnel, Gerry Ammann, Lichtinstallation Bregenz 2011 --- Der Licht-Tunnel von Gerry Ammann steht am Ende des Westmolos. Das tunnelförmige Lichtobjekt ist fünf Meter lang und 2,60 Meter hoch. 30 Glasrohre bilden einen „Erlebnisraum“, der, wenn es dunkel ist, anfängt zu leuchten. Es entsteht ein sich ständig wandelnder Farbraum mit wechselnden Kompositionen. Gerry Ammann wurde 1962 in Bregenz geboren. Während er an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Wien bei Bruno Gironcoli studierte, absolvierte er gleichzeitig ein Studium der Werkerziehung und Bildnerischen Erziehung. Heute lebt und arbeitet Gerry Ammann in Wien. The tunnel-shaped light object is five meters long and 2.60 meters high. 30 glass tubes form a "space of experience" which, when it is dark, begins to glow. The result is a constantly changing color space with varying compositions. Gerry Ammann was born 1962 in Bregenz. While he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna with Bruno Gironcoli, he graduated at the same time a study of handicraft education and art education. He now lives and works in Vienna.
