River in the woods

River in the woods
An early autumn walk taken at Hardcastle Craggs always reaps rewards. Experience the soft light through the trees here with me and watch the fallen golden leaves float down the river. In a few more weeks this would be even better with true red and golds from front to back but for now we have what we have so enjoy.

Autumn is a wonderful time for those that have the health and willpower to go out with a camera and catch it. Only an hour or so back in the house there was totally black sky on one side and sun on the other with rain in-between so must have been a rainbow somewhere. Glad you liked this.

Glorious light coming through the trees..........and I love the contrasting tree branches against the green leaves. The little stream is beautiful and I just love the carpet of golden leaves.
