Tree framed sheep

One from last year’s Lake District trip to Ennerdale Bridge. This hill caught my attention with these trees, especially the one on the right. The sheep also thought that shape was a bit strange for a tree.

Ps –and no wise-cracks about there only being two framed sheep :)

Thanks Steve. Like you, I believe, I instantly saw that right tree as a Bonsai candidate. The framing was between the two trees not the overall scene. I had thought at first that there really was only two sheep in that frame but I heard the accent in my head :)

No there is one sat in the deep grass behind the first. A most interesting tree for sure. This is actually part of the garden of the cottage we stayed in so not many strangers to sit on that tree.
