The beauty of our Earth’s troposphere.

Enjoy with me this beautiful sun-setting sky and clouds. Taken last year whilst on the Yorkshire coast near Runswick Bay. Who could imagine a better sky scene than this?
NB. ‘troposphere’ definition: the lowest region of the atmosphere, extending from the earth's surface to the tropopause, an inclusive height of about 6–10 km (to the lower boundary of the stratosphere).
Enjoy full screen.

Herb Riddle club has replied to Thérèse clubHave a good day. Herb
a really lovely photo.
would you put it in my group 'naturey crap - crappy nature'? (name explained on group page) if you like.
Herb Riddle club has replied to raingirl clubSorry about not putting the photo in your group, I feel at odds with its purpose!
Have a great day. Herb
raingirl club has replied to Herb Riddle clubThe group is because I get this feeling about nature photos, something like, 'another freakin' beautiful nature photo!', like, how can i look at yet another pretty picture. But in reality, I love nature photos and want to keep looking at them. Thus the name 'Naturey crap'. The other half of the name 'crappy nature' - is from the idea that some people judge their nature photos so harshly that they don't share them in a group. This half of the group is a place for those who are simply unsure of their photos to post.
So the group is free of judgement about nature photos - whether it's that there are simply too many of them, or that they are felt to not be "good" enough. Simply a place to enjoy all things nature.
How's that for confusing! So of course you can do as you wish with your photo!! I still really love this one.
Herb Riddle club has replied to raingirl clubraingirl club has replied to Herb Riddle clubPlease forgive me if I recommend another of your photos for the group - I can't keep track of all such details about who like which group. Simply reject the suggestion and know I've only done it because I DO like your photo.
peace.
Enjoy your Sunday.

Herb Riddle club has replied to tiabunna clubOf course you certainly know about such things as our atmosphere and weather and in such you are the expert here. On further research you are absolutely right in that technically the Troposphere's upper limit is called the tropopause and it is that which borders the stratosphere.
I believe that all our weather is generated in the lower reaches of our atmosphere (The troposphere including the tropopause).
Keep safe. Herb
Sunday greetings, Rosa.
