One of your best winter scenes yet, I think..!! There's nothing bleak about this midwinter..!!

Excellent composition as always Herb...........the diagonals of the hills and wall are just perfect and that golden light...............just wow!!

The stars of the show for me are that beautifully shaped tree, especially where it's silhouetted against the sky, and the dry stone wall which is fantastic.

This would look wonderful as a large canvas, or maybe this year's Christmas Card :-)

Ah Keith, you always gladden my heart with such tales of grandeur towards my captures. I have always loved to take winter landscapes and as you say, this is up there with my best I think too. I am having such fun with this week of local snow photos that I will extend it into next week too. Hopefully you will find another one to adore.
