Ah Lothar, always good to see you here enjoying my travel photos. Yes, as I sit here writing this the thermometer says it is 12C at my desk and -4C outside. It is at this time of the year we have often travelled to Spain or Cyprus to get the sun and warmth. Not this year though! You and I both would wish to be back here at 20C.

Haha, we did alight near here (see next photo) and did some walking but not very far as Eileen was still suffering the effects of sea-sickness. Of course I would have loved to get to the top of this which must have been pretty high.

It's a long time I don't go in a boat. I never was in Mallorca, but I was in Gibraltar.

Bonita foto desde el mar. Yo subí a la Sierra de la Calobra (la Culebra) desde el interior y tiene una carretera serpenteante de unos 12 kilómetros, costantes curvas cerradas y despeñaderos, impresiona y toma mucha altura... A uno que venía con nosotros hubo que apearle antes de llegar. Por tierra Eileen también “verde”:--)

Good to see you here José. I have seen the top of that road too from Sieraa de la Calabra. Beside looking quite exciting it was full of very slow vehicles not getting anywhere. Given more time and a quieter day, I would have liked to walk down there. See my next photo on here for another view. Eileen is normally perfectly OK in the car but not the best of sailors!

Definitely very impressive viewed full screen...........the "mini Gibraltar" stands out beautifully from the background. Some impressive cloudage too Herb!
