The Wonders of Mallorca: Torrent de Pareis
Having arrived at the foot of the Canyon de la Calabra by boat, we followed the hordes through the small cave-tunnel to reach this beautiful idyll. Looking inland, a peaceful calm behold us but the main attraction for most that come here is behind me; the view out to the open sea through the rock gateway (see PiPs). On the far bank here runs the main river that soon disappears under the pebbles to reach the sea.

Thanks a lot Toz. Yes a great spot this. An exciting half day with two boat rides and then finding this spot. We never did really relax though only on our return boat trip back to Soller.

Another tale of my many trips abroad here Keith. Yes, a place of two parts here for sure. People wanted the sun and water more and so the area near the sea was by far the most popular. I've no idea whether I could have explored further up this valley. Pity.
