Start Point Lighthouse fence

The walk up to Start Point Lighthouse is one of the best coastal walks in South Devon, along the South West Coast Path. The dramatic cliffs and stunning coastal landscape is breath-taking. Just below here, we saw seals playing.

We stayed for a wonderful weekend in Southpool in 1981 and explored a bit but I wasn't taking photos then! I also visited clients in the South Hams district. A tiny village, I forget the name. I was invited to stay the weekend. Very pretty but the narrow lanes, high walls and very narrow wooded valleys seemed a touch claustrophobic. I prefer the open expanse of the moors and the clifftops!
Very belated HFF to you too. Herb
