Windermere Fence

On the west side of this great English lake stands the imposing Wray castle. Following the path from here down to the lake is a special boat jetty allowing tourist to visit it and its shore. Alighting passenger may, if they look carefully see this very old fence finding its way into the water. Its original purpose is now long lost but for me, still a beautiful little scene with the contrast of the new jetty woodwork in the background.
