I was waiting to move the very large bonsai after I was all set up to take photos of a bonsai on tripod I saw the hover Fly. See if you can see the wings they never stopped at all, if you look large you can see it feeding on the pollen of the flower. australian.museum/learn/animals/insects/hover-flies

While checking for weeds from the city I took a photo of this years flower about 30 on the small group I have. A flower most people in Australia would never see at all as its such a small plant and live in a very narrow environment on the large granite Rocks. like the leaves the flower is also protected with sharp tough spikes.

While we did not get every thing working correctly this is a huge step forward 98% of the computer running of the mount and camera worked perfectly. The one that did not work was the Guiding which will give longer times. This was 100 shot 80Sec each as it was a long day cleaning and going to be just as long today. The net result a very big step forward in detail. This is the first look at The D810 as a Deep space camera so far I like it . Enjoy a rare clear night. PIP first look with old tracker.

This Is a Huge crop of the already Crop mode which turns a 600mm into an 900mm equivalent. The only reason this works is the extra pixels on the D810 compared to the D600. This is not tracked just tripod shot This the limits of my gear only way to get better is a bigger telescope. 1500mm
