Hover Fly. Do look at this Larger the better.

I was waiting to move the very large bonsai after I was all set up to take photos of a bonsai on tripod I saw the hover Fly. See if you can see the wings they never stopped at all, if you look large you can see it feeding on the pollen of the flower.

thanks it took a few shots to get what I could see the fly eating each landing but wings never stopped.

I think that the Idea to shoot a few shots fast paid off you cant shoot this by press and shoot each shot they move to fast. glad you like it have to admit not one I thought I would get.

Certainly looks good close up Great catch Steve.
Did you take any shots at a higher speed? I would be interested to know what speed is needed to stop the wing movement.
