Lagoon Nebula & Trifid Nebula- Do look large

While we did not get every thing working correctly this is a huge step forward 98% of the computer running of the mount and camera worked perfectly. The one that did not work was the Guiding which will give longer times.
This was 100 shot 80Sec each as it was a long day cleaning and going to be just as long today. The net result a very big step forward in detail. This is the first look at The D810 as a Deep space camera so far I like it .
Enjoy a rare clear night.
PIP first look with old tracker.

the results are much better than the older unit. this the first look at the D810 for deep space and it shines over the D600 shots.
has not been easy and I nearly gave up but glad I asked for help this is what I was after from the start.

is done with a camera lens no telescope. This is a 150-600mm Tamron lens, shows what you can do. This a better mount and better camera than the first shot I took. BUT know This past 1000mm cheaper to buy a telescope than a lens but I am not there yet Still having fun with all my lens and learning.
